ntroduce new words, their pronunciation, meaning and usage, in addition to the basic vocabulary words learnt in prior grades, Read sentences fluently. Make simple oral sentences. Story building based on picture(s). Rearranging sentences in the correct order.

Reading :  Read stories and songs and comprehend their meaning

Writtng :  Write words and simple sentences. Fill in the conversations based on the pictures given. Understand the sentence and fill in the suitable word.

Oral / Conversation :

Discuss about different places and situations in Tamil. Follow instructions in Tamil. Conversational topics on savings, market, park, mother’s y etc. Create their own book on animals (based on the type of food they eat, farm animals, wild animals, pet birds and wild birds). 

Project:

Creating their own stories with moral Talking on different topics like their favorite book, fruit, vegetable, festival etc.
